All internal FD Consultants are trained in Competency Based Interviewing of their candidates. This evaluates candidate competence in predefined areas (i.e. Results Orientation, Team Work, Planning and Organisation) and gives valuable insights into an individual's preferred style of working and help predict behaviours in future situations. As an additional service FD can develop for their clients bespoke competency interview frameworks to assist them when interviewing and benchmarking candidates.
Assessment Centres are valuable in identifying the suitability, strengths and potential development areas of people in relation to a particular job or role. FD has an in-house expert who has designed bespoke Assessment Centres over a period of 7 years across industries and directly for our clients. They provide a unique opportunity to objectively observe and measure how people actually perform tasks, make decisions, relate to each other, and demonstrate self awareness. We have the facility to design bespoke and tailored assessments to your specific requirements after a brief consultation for recruitment or on internal Team Appraisals.
FD conducts its own research into market indicators such as salary movement and job activity across financial services and other industries on at least an annual basis. We are happy to provide this information to our clients on an ad hoc basis or in more formalised way on your behalf.
We are actively involved in the sale of firms, the disposal of a retiring consultants client banks and in designing retirement, exit strategies for our clients and candidates. We have an active client bank of firms who are on the look out for more clients and businesses and are will to pay competitive rates.
